This marble model is a model similar to the water circuit model explaining the basics of electricity like voltage, current and resistance. There are a bunch of scenes with different examples of circuits in this application.

The battery (1. version)
The more bricks are on the cylinder, the more pressure arises below it. The pressure arises in the whole area. It doesnít matter whether it moves or not, the pressure stays constant. The volt indication on a battery symbolizes the weight of the bricks. The heavier they are, the higher the pressure is independent of its movement.
The battery (2. Version)
The higher the voltage indication on a battery is, the harder the voltage-gnomes have to push the wheel. The harder they push, the more the spring compresses. If the marbles arenít able to move forward, the gnomes are still pushing with the same force. If the marbles have the possibility to move through the pipe, the voltage-gnomes still keep pushing with the same pressure. They donít care how fast they have to run in order to keep that pressure constant, these are voltage-gnome-athletes. All they care about is the pressure on the wheel.
Current is the rate of flow of charge past a point. The more marbles go through that gate in a specific time, the higher the flow of current is.
The smaller a cross section of a conductor is, the lower the rate of flow is. The higher the pressure of the marbles is, the higher the rate of them getting through in a specific timeframe is.
